Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Spatz SEO WordPress plugin, the spatzseo.com website, your account, and related services (the “Service”), how we use that information, and the choices you have.

Spatz SEO (“Spatz SEO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Service. This policy works together with our Terms of Service.

By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us, information collected automatically when you use the Service, and information we receive from service providers that help us operate.

Information you provide, which may include:

  • account details such as your name, email address, and password;
  • purchase and billing details, which are handled by our payment processor;
  • support requests, including the contents of tickets and any attachments;
  • messages and other information you choose to send us.

Information collected automatically when you visit spatzseo.com, which may include:

  • IP address;
  • browser type and device information;
  • pages viewed and actions taken;
  • referring URLs;
  • timestamps;
  • cookie and similar identifiers.

License-validation information from the plugin. When you activate or use the plugin, it communicates with our systems to validate your license, deliver updates, and prevent abuse. This may include:

  • your account or order reference;
  • your license key;
  • site URL and domain;
  • IP address;
  • plugin version;
  • WordPress version;
  • PHP version;
  • activation status;
  • timestamps;
  • related technical and server-response data.

2. AI features and your content

Spatz SEO’s AI features use your own Anthropic API key. When you use those features, your website sends the content you choose directly to Anthropic for processing using your key.

We do not receive, store, or have access to that content, and we do not receive or store your Anthropic API key. Your key is encrypted and stored on your own WordPress site.

In short, for AI processing we are not in the data path. Your use of Anthropic is governed by Anthropic’s own terms and privacy policy, and you are responsible for the content you choose to send, your Anthropic account, your billing, and your data-retention settings.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • validate licenses, count activations, and deliver updates;
  • process payments, renewals, and refunds;
  • provide support and respond to your requests;
  • send transactional and service messages, such as receipts, license details, security notices, and renewal reminders;
  • secure the Service and detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, and security issues;
  • comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations;
  • understand and improve our products and website;
  • with your consent where required, send product news or marketing, which you can opt out of at any time.

4. Payment processing

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, currently Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe processes your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

We receive limited information, such as order amount, status, and a payment reference, so we can manage your order, license, and renewals.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

spatzseo.com uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, secure the site, and understand how the site is used.

Essential cookies are required for the website and your account to function. We may also use analytics cookies to measure and improve the site.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the site works.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • with service providers that help us operate, such as payment processing, hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, and security, under agreements that limit how they may use the information;
  • when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or the Service;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, where information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and as required to meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information in our control. However, no website, plugin, server, account system, payment system, or internet-connected service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, license key, and API keys secure.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, update, delete, or port it, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails.

To make a request about your information, open a support ticket. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. International data transfers

We and our service providers may store and process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in those countries.

11. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, open a support ticket and we will take appropriate steps.

12. Third-party services and links

The Service integrates with or links to third-party services, such as Anthropic, Stripe, search engines, and indexing providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on spatzseo.com and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
